Oh, hello. Thanks for visiting our new blog! We know you don’t have much free time, so we appreciate you taking the time to visit. We hope this blog will entertain you, get you thinking, and connect you with colleagues. The last thing we want to do is add work to your plate we want to make your life easier. Simply put, we want to support learning, create connections, share best practices, and have fun sounds familiar, huh? We’re creating a community within the Residence Life profession… and now you’re a part of it! Welcome to the community!

Community Building

It’s not easy. You can’t just enter a room, put on your favourite mixtape, talk to a couple of people and expect to have built a community. To create meaningful relationships, you need to
share a piece of yourself expand your boundaries and make yourself vulnerable to create trust. This community is no different; we need to build trust with you. To start off, here are some tidbits you may not know about us:

1. eRezlife was founded in 2007.
2. The cofounders met when they were in 2nd grade.
3. Two employees have the same last name but are not related.
4. Two employees have the same last name and are related.
5. eRezlife has over 300 client implementations in Canada and the USA.
6. A hockey jersey is acceptable business attire.
7. The parrot is the unofficial mascot of eRezlife.
   

Free money? Say what?!

You heard right! Over the next two months, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the people at eRezlife. That said, this community is not just about eRezlife it’s about everyone in Residence Life and Housing. We want to learn about you, too.
