September 30 – October 2: Online

We’re so excited for our 2020 Virtual User Conference! It’s not what we’d envisioned for our second User Conference when we left Charlotte last September, but we have a great line-up of speakers and are excited to connect as a community. Register now!

Join us from September 30 to October 2 and learn more about eRezLife Software and our community. The conference will offer over 20 sessions that have been curated to allow you to learn from others, ask questions, and build stronger connections with other eRezLife users.  Best of all – the experience is FREE for our community members. We do ask that you make a $50 contribution to a charity of your choice in lieu of your registration fee.

Schedule:

The conference will run over three half days. The schedule includes three hours of formal programming each day plus some additional time to close out the day for Q&A, networking, and applying your learning. For those who want more, there will be an optional social activity to share a laugh and get to know others in a more casual setting.

Opening Keynote:

Effecting Change on Issues of Race, Power, and Privilege in Student Affairs

Tiffany Mintah, University of British Columbia

Tiffany is a Black Canadian woman. Her MA research focused on engagement with race and privilege on university campuses. Tiffany will articulate how to take her research about race and privilege and create actionable items that you can implement on your campus. Tiffany works as Associate Director Strategic Initiatives with Student Housing at the University of British Columbia. She is a new mother to a 9-month old son.

Best Practice/Client Presentations:

The conference will offer the opportunity to learn from over 15 of your colleagues.  You’ll hear ways that they’re using the service as well as hear about their experiences using eRezLife to be more successful in their roles. These presentations will also be available for viewing after the conference to ensure you can soak in all the information!

Community Showcases:

Lynn University and the University of Cincinnati will spend some time chatting with you about how eRezLife is integrated on their campuses. These sessions are a bit longer than the best practice presentations.

Roundtables:

These sessions will provide the opportunity for our delegates to engage in dialogue around a defined topic. Topics discussed will be hot topics in Student Affairs/Higher Education and less eRezLife Software specific.

eRezLife Training:

There will be a couple of training sessions for new administrators. Based on feedback from our community, we’re focusing our attention on client presentations and thought leadership. You will have the opportunity to book a one-on-one meeting with a member of our Client Success Team during the conference.

Meet-Ups:

Throughout the conference, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other eRezLife community members. We’ll offer opportunities to virtually connect with identified user groups, or you can message colleagues to arrange your own meet-ups!

Delivery:

Our conference will be delivered through a system that offers both desktop and mobile apps.  The system will allow you to view the conference schedule and create a personalized schedule that is customized to your needs. You’ll also be able to join community discussion groups and connect with other delegates through the online chat or Zoom meet-ups.

Presentation style sessions will be recorded to allow flexibility in attendance. Access to the site will be available for six months after the conference so you can re-watch sessions, catch up on sessions you missed, or continue to contribute to community discussions.

Financial:

Our User Conference is free. In lieu of a registration fee, please donate to a charity of your choice such as a COVID-19 relief effort, a BLM organization, or Los Angeles Room & Board

We appreciate that you may have difficulty getting your institution to pay for a charitable donation. The majority of our community has little to no professional development funding at this time, so we hoped this would provide an opportunity to attend, contribute to necessary causes, and be a reasonable amount of money to contribute out of pocket. Unfortunately, we are unable to invoice you from eRezLife Software at this time. If you are unable to make a charitable donation but want to attend the conference, please register and indicate your financial hardship on the form.

Cancellation:

We hope that you won’t need to cancel your registration!  In the unfortunate event that your plans change and you need to cancel, we are unable to offer you a refund of your charitable donation. Registration is fully transferable to another eRezLife user.
